and I don't buzz about wrestling much anymore - But I was able to catch ECW One Night Stand via download (yeah, I know, I'm cheap and didn't get it on PPV, but this is one I now wish I had caught live)

This fucking show brought a tear to my eye and reinforced everything I've ever felt. Fuck, I'm teary just writing this.

Give 100%. Give your all, no matter how many are there to see it. Give from the heart, and just be that damn honest and good.

I saw some wrestling matches that made me feel 20 years old again.
I saw passion that far surpasses anything and everything I've seen in that business and then some.

and then to see Paul Heyman (former owner of ECW come out to a massive pop/chant "Thank you Paul"

I could only hope to earn 1/10th that kind of pop with Raw Net... Paul, you deserve that fucking kudos. I'm gonna sit down hopefully tonight and watch your show.. I'm gonna enjoy your show.. I'm gonna pray for something that will get ECW to be reborn and I'm gonna be a damn good fan..

Why? You retaught me at One Night Stand to have one hell of a passion, no matter what. To go after what I want, while giving all that I can.

1) The heat. Holy /god/ is it hot , with the humidity it literally sucks the wind out of you - and culminated with working Truck 2 days ago.. I still haven't been fully up to specs afterward. They've got me on packing now,and I've been drinking a TON - teas and water.. so I'm ill, but not keeling over.

Chris is picking up a in window AC unit tomorrow, and we should have ice hanging off the ceiling afterwards... all will be good - what's been brutal is the constant work/heat, come home to home/heat with little ways of getting relief.

that changes tomorrow and I'm GLAD.

2) Raw stuff - I've never been hesitant on anything whatsoever. For some reason, I can't bring myself to do Unscrypted II, even though it needs to happen. For us, it's /our/ world series, wrestlemania, super bowl and the like.. just so many memories from this time last year and now, that things have gotten a little emotional.. not depressive , mind you, but things have just been overwhelming - I HAVE won my war, and I realize it. I am in command of my own house, I'm happier, I have everything I need short of the desk job - and I stand firm that for what I have outside of that job right now, giving up sitting behind a desk is worth that pain.

3) Gonna see High Tension soon - will do a review soon.

4) Gods, I have SO much anime to catch up on - Elfin Lied (I have the R1 disc one, the rest on fansub), Full Metal Panic Fumoffu, Saiyuki (I'm trying to catch up on R1 double barrel releases) , Naruto (I haven't seen much since ep 120) , and others.

5) I have a bootleg of WrestleMania VI . This has /always/ been a favorite of the Wrestlemanias for me. My first time watching a Wrestlemania "live" , and my dad and I watched it at a sports bar, eating dinner and sharing a father son moment. Plus the main event of Hulk Hogan vs. Ultimate Warrior in the days of "Good Guys shall not fight" was still timeless to watch.

Thanks to the World Wildlife Fund (and yes, any of you can feel free to debate me into the ground, but if they would choose to WORK with the WWE, legit R1 releases of Wrestlemanias 1-18 could be out. WM 15-18 went on moritorium because the WWE is NOT allowed to sell anything with a WWF logo. Any flashback / Videos have to have the WWF logo blurred out, and in some shots (the WWE put a LOT of banners up ) there's so many blurs it detracts from the action on the screen. Yes, the WWF (conservationists) taught WWF (wrestlers) a 'lesson', but thanks to them, they took away OUR means to enjoy legit R1 DVDS of these older events. WHERE IS THAT FAIR? (steps off soapbox)

That's about it... gotta go to work, and with a little luck, I'll be home around 8ish. Sorry to those that tried to IM me last night and I wasn't saying much - it was just hot as hell and I had to lay down.

Those following me doing encodes for watching stuff downloaded on my TV, I've had VCD's that are pretty good, if not DVD quality...

I've always had an itch that says "You COULD put that on DVD somehow, and shrink the amount of discs used too"

I'm a happy camper on that..hehee.. 39 eps on two discs, and still very watchable (basically I did a dvd as a VCD, just with more room to spare)

Next project I should do is getting 1-25 of Gundam Seed on a DVD and getting the VCD's (good damned quality) to Saishi after all that talk of GS on Raw this past Saturday
